Table saw sold at Lowe's stores recalled over possible fire hazard

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A table saw sold at Lowe's stores is being recalled over a possible fire hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall involves Porter-Cable brand 10" table saws with model number PCX362010. 258,000 of them were sold at Lowe's stores between June 2016 and September 2018.

The company said 61 of the table saw motors have overheated and caused fires. One person reported that their home suffered smoke damage because of the defect. No injuries have been reported.

If you own one, the manufacturer, Chang Type, is urging you to stop using it immediately and contact them for a refund.
