Because of high demand, TESSA's pop-up shop will remain open for another week.
The 'Style for a Cause' event is set up at a store on the east side of the Promenade Shops at Briargate in Colorado Springs. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Most of the clothing donated to TESSA is professional work clothing, like dresses, suites, blouses, and more.
"Great high-end stuff, dresses are ten dollars, suits are 15 dollars, blazers are 10 dollars, purses are 15 dollars," said Rica Molet with TESSA. "We also have a designer section where you can get a great Coach bag or Michael Kors for 40 dollars, so it’s great pricing.”
Proceeds will benefit TESSA.
“We’ve been collecting donations for the past year so all of the donations go to TESSA programming," said Molet. "We’ve been housing it all at the WRC center and that’s our separate program that offers clothing to women that have just come out of situations or homelessness so this is a great opportunity to give back to our community.”
“Our mission is to help domestic violence and sexual assault victims in El Paso and Teller Counties, providing services ranging from youth and children programming, counseling, programs and legal assistance to those in the community," said Molet.
TESSA employees told 11 News the sale was supposed to wrap up this weekend, but because it has been so popular they are planning on extending the sale through the first week of October. It will likely close on October 5 or October 6.
