COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A shelter-in-place order was lifted for the 2400 block of East Willamette Sunday evening, several hours after neighbors were first told a disturbance suspect was at large.

A lieutenant tells 11 News the disturbance happened in that same area Sunday morning but did not have any details about the incident. For neighbors' safety, the police department issued a shelter-in-place alert around 11:45 a.m. Police also asked neighbors in the area to call CSPD at 719-444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP if the subject was seen.

The man is described as a white 20 or 30-something male wearing a dark-colored jacket and a light-colored hoodie with jeans. 11 News is told this search is somehow connected with earlier officer-involved shooting.

Police lifted the shelter-in-place order before 8 p.m. but did not say if they located the suspect.
