Suspect wanted in road rage incident involving gun near Woodmen and Powers

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Springs police are asking the public for help finding a road rage suspect who threatened a driver with a gun.

The victim was leaving the Walmart off of Woodmen near Powers when a pickup pulled up and began driving alongside them. A passenger started screaming at the victim, then leaned out the window and aimed his semi-automatic handgun. Police say the victim was able to get away by making an abrupt turn off of Woodmen. The suspect vehicle continued eastbound and was last seen east of Powers.

The suspect is reportedly between 40 and 50 years old and either white or Hispanic and is described as bald with a goatee. The vehicle he was in was a newer four-door pickup with tinted windows and possibly a grenade sticker on the rear window. The victim described the truck's color as "Penn State blue." The incident was reported around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
