PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV)- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Department arrested the suspect involved in a carjacking that led to a police chase on I-25. The suspect was then hit by a train where she sustained injuries.

Pueblo Police publicly announced the arrest of Angelic Lobato on Tuesday. She is pictured at the top of this article.

Lobato was taken to Pueblo hospital after the police pursuit before being transferred to Denver hospital on Nov. 1. According to officers, they had decided to arrest her after she was treated for her injuries, but then she went on the run.

The hospital staff reportedly considered her injuries a "self- inflicted wound," so they did not consider her a threat to the community because she needed medical treatment.

Police are investigating whether she let herself out of the hospital or if she was released without their knowledge. She was wanted for robbery and vehicular eluding.
