Springs police investigate armed robbery

The Colorado Springs Police Department said officers were looking for the man who reportedly robbed a convenience store early Friday morning.
Police said a man robbed a Loaf ‘N Jug in the 5300 block of Airport Road just before 1 a.m. Officers said the man went into the store with his face covered, showed a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk.
Officers said suspect got away with an unknown amount of money and left the store in a car.
