COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - This Valentine's Day, what better than to celebrate the original power couple, peanut butter and jelly, and help your neighbors!
Southern Colorado non-profit Care and Share is calling on the public to spread a little love PB&J-style and donate a couple of jars to people in need. Donations can be dropped off at the distribution center in Colorado Springs (2605 Preamble Point) or Pueblo (100 Greenhorn Drive).
"We are always in need of peanut butter because it’s a great source of protein for hungry kids and families," Care and Share said in a statement Monday.
And if you're already dropping off peanut butter, why not throw in its soulmate too? After all -- it is Valentine's week!
Donations are being accepted now through Feb. 15 between 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
