Shots fired during Carl's Jr. robbery

A robber fired his weapon while holding up a Springs fast food restaurant early Thursday morning.

Police say the robbery was reported just after 4:20 a.m. at the Carl's Jr. off Garden of the Gods Road. The location is open 24 hours.

Few details have been released about the crime, other than a vague suspect description. Police say he was a white male wearing a gray hoodie and black pants.

It's unclear why he fired his gun, but no injuries were reported.
