Springs police looking for witness in attempted homicide

Police are looking for a witness in a shooting last week in east Colorado Springs.
Responding officers found a gravely injured man at the intersection of Delaware Drive and East Uintah Street late on the night May 25. The shooter had already fled the area when officers arrived. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was in critical condition at last report May 26.
Police are calling the shooting an attempted homicide.
Wednesday, police asked for the public's help locating 27-year-old Amanda Minney, who they believe was a witness to the shooting. Minney is described as a 5-foot-7, 140-pound white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She reportedly has two tattoos: a daisy tattoo on her right wrist and an angel wing tattoo on her back.
