Semi fire on southbound I-25 south of Colorado Springs near Fountain

A semi fire shut down part of I-25 Thursday evening south of Colorado Springs.

Fire crews were called to a part of the highway just south of Fountain.

At about 6 p.m. the right shoulder was blocked. At about 6:15 p.m. all of southbound I-25 was shut down in the area.

Colorado State Patro is reporting the fire was at milepost 127. One lane was back open at about 7 p.m.

It doesn't appear anyone was injured in the blaze.

As of 10 p.m., one lane was still closed.
