WANTED: Suspect in attempted kidnapping case out of Colorado

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (KKTV) - Denver-area police are on the hunt for a driver who allegedly tried to abduct a teenage girl.

The teen told Broomfield police she was walking home from school when a man got out of the pickup and tried to push her inside. She was able to run away.

A composite sketch of the alleged suspect was sent out by Broomfield Police on Thursday. You can view the sketch at the top of this article.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, possibly 40, average height and with an average build. Police believe his truck is a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with aftermarket wheels and a center cap missing from the rear passenger-side wheel. A photo can be seen at the top of this article.

The incident was reported near 144th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard around 4:15 Monday afternoon.
