EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is hoping for the public's helping in finding the owner of a wedding ring.

The ring was found by a concealed handgun permits officer on the street. They posted a picture of the gold ring to social media on Wednesday. It's a gold and white band with the date June 12, 1998. It also has two sets of initials engraved on the inside.

The sheriff's office is hoping the public can share the ring on social media!

"Ok Facebook, do your thing! Let's get this ring to it's owner!"

If you are the owner of the ring you can contact the El Paso County Sheriff's Office or KKTV at 719-578-0000 and ask for Tony.
