FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE 11/30/18:
Someone dropped the stolen trike off at the Fountain Police station.

Lisa Schneider, the Public Information Officer for the Fountain Police Department, posted the following to Facebook:
"When I walked in to work this morning, at the PD, I saw the most beautiful sight and it came in the color pink. It had 3 wheels and an amazing basket....It was the stolen bike I posted about yesterday!

Thank you citizens for your continued support and help when I post requests for your help. It was a terrible situation, however, this story has a happy ending!"

Someone stole a tricycle specifically made for a young woman with special needs in Fountain.

The City of Fountain posted a picture of the trike to social media on Thursday. It isn't clear when the bike was stolen but it was last seen in the area of Jimmy Camp and Link Road. The picture of the blue bike is an example of what it looks like but the color of the bike is actually pink.

The tricycle was specifically made for the young lady by Mobility Bikes. It has a hand horn and an aluminum basket on the back.

If you know where the trike is you're asked to call police at 719-382-8555 or Sgt. Daly at 719-382-4234.
