COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - When you're taking the family out to look at Christmas lights across Colorado Springs, you should consider making a stop at the Ingles' household this season!

Mark Ingles goes above and beyond to spread holiday cheer in more ways than one. He's partnered up with Care and Share Food Bank For Southern Colorado to collect donations from the community at his house that is decked out with decorations and lights.

The home is located at 4910 Nugent Drive near Barnes and Peterson.

This is the fourth year Ingles has partnered with Care & Share. Last year he helped collect 1,387 pounds of food. If you've seen the display before, you should know there's a new "Grinch" addition this year in honor of the animated film set to be released. A resident of Woodland Park donated a Chest Freezer to help with food donations.

Those concerned about canned food donations freezing overnight shouldn't worry. Ingles has added lights inside an inactive freezer to keep the canned food from freezing.

The goal for 2018 is 1,500 pounds! Donations are being accepted at the house until Jan. 1. Click here for more information on Care and Share.
