Robber holds up Springs Subway

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - An armed robber remains at large after holding up a Colorado Springs Subway Saturday night.

Police said the suspect walked into the restaurant just before closing time and ordered the clerk at gunpoint to hand over cash. The clerk complied, and the crook took off with his stolen loot.

The robbery was reported around 10 p.m. at the location on Fillmore just west of Nevada. The suspect was last seen running north.

The clerk described the robber as a thin, 5-foot-5 or 5-foot-6 man wearing a baseball cap, black hoodie, and a bandana over his face. Anyone with information should call CSPD at 719-444-7000. Anonymous calls can be placed to Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP.
