Recall Alert: Osage Gardens recalls Micro Greens for Salmonella contamination

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) listed a recall from Osage Gardens, Inc. The Osage Gardens Organic two-ounce Micro Greens are being recalled for potential Salmonella contamination.

The FDA says this product is sold at Whole Foods Market in Colorado and Kansas. They say Micro Greens are "packed in a clear plastic clamshell and has a label on the bottom with UPC code of 709376615008...affected product are dated with a Julian codes from 266 to 279.’"

So far, no one has been reported sick. If you are worried you may have Salmonella, the FDA says symptoms include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

At this time, Osage Gardens, Inc. is looking into the cause and has stopped production of its Micro Greens until the investigation is complete.

The FDA says anyone with the affected Micro Greens product should return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
