Pueblo police investigate shots fired inside hotel overnight

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Pueblo police said officers forced their way inside two hotel rooms early Thursday morning after hearing gunshots.

According to police, an officer was investigating a call at Motel 6 on North Elizabeth when he heard gunshots nearby.

Police said officers went to the Clarion Inn next door to investigate and found an "active disturbance" happening between two adjoining rooms.

Officers had to force their way inside the rooms, according to police. Once inside, police said they found numerous people, including one man who was bleeding from the face.

Police said they found a gun and arrested one man on felony warrants. The man who was hurt was arrested for a restraining order violation, according to officers.
