PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV)- Early Thursday morning Pueblo police officers responded to a call reporting shots fired. The call came in around 12:30 a.m. for an area around Westacres Ave and Winston St.

A witness told police that he saw the car drive through the area while a backseat passenger fired a gun out of the window into the air.

The car was described as an older Honda Civic that was possibly brown.

While searching the street, police said that they did recover several .45 caliber shell casings.

Officers are asking around for any surveillance footage that might have captured a good image of the car. The vehicle was last seen going north on Alpine Ave.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is made available.
