COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A porch pirate, with absolutely no spirit, stole from a Colorado Springs cheer team on Wednesday.

The crime was caught on camera on the southeast side of Colorado Springs just after 6 in the morning. The suspect can be seen walking up to the package once before walking away. The suspect examined it as if he or she was having second thoughts about stealing something right off the front porch of someone else's home. However, the suspect is caught on camera a second time going up to the package and going through with the crime.

What the thief probably didn't know, the package was a stereo that was supposed t be used for a cheer team's practice later that day. The crime happened along Squawbush Ridge Grove.

A picture of the suspect is at the top of this article. A video is below. If you have any information on the identity of the suspect you're asked to call Colorado Springs police at 719-444-7000. A case number has yet to be made, but you can reference the online report filed by the victim, T19003673.
