ORIGINAL STORY 2/11/20:

Police are still looking for the man who shot his girlfriend and threatened her friend during a confrontation at a northeast Springs home Monday.

Officers say the suspect shot his girlfriend in the shoulder area, then threatened the friend with his pistol after the friend got involved. The suspect was identified as 28-year-old James Darren McGuire. A photo of McGuire is at the top of this article.

The suspect was long gone when officers reached the home on Antelope Valley Point around 3:45 p.m. The shooting victim was transported to the hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
