Man wanted for pointing gun at high school kids at restaurant identified

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE 7:20 p.m.
The Pueblo police department wants to thank the public for helping identify a man suspected of pointing a gun at a group of high school kids outside of a restaurant. The picture of the man has been removed from this article because he was identified by authorities.

Police did not provide the man's name and stated the investigation into the case is "ongoing."

Pueblo police are looking for a man accused of pointing a gun at a group of high school kids outside a restaurant.

It happened Thursday night at 11:23 p.m in northern Pueblo on North Freeway.

Police say it all started with an argument inside the restaurant. Officers say a group of guys including the man pictured, were being rude with staff and the people around them. There was an argument with the group of teens who were in the booth next to them.

In the parking lot, police say the man waved a gun at the kids and threatened them before driving off.

Police say they believe they have identified all people involved but are working to confirm.
