Pickup truck destroyed in early morning fire

No one was injured after a vehicle burst into flames early Christmas morning.

Police say the truck was already engulfed in flames when officers arrived at the scene in the 4700 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to get the fire extinguished. Officials have not commented on the damage, but the Chevy truck appears to have been destroyed.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
