CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. (KKTV) - The case that captured national attention is about to get more interesting.
Two weeks ago on Nov. 18, Patrick Frazee was found guilty for murdering the mother of his child, Kelsey Berreth. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole plus 156 years.
The prosecution's star witness, Krystal Lee, learned that she will be sentenced Jan. 28, 2020.
Lee made a plea deal with the district attorney's office if she provided all information about the murder. She faces a maximum of three years in prison.
"We made a deal with the devil and I’m not proud of it. She deserves every day a judge decides to sentence her," said District Attorney Dan May.
Lee is a former nurse from Idaho and is the former girlfriend of Frazee. She plead guilty to tampering with evidence and moving Berreth's phone.
