Owl hit by a vehicle in Colorado sent to bird rescue for care

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (KKTV) - With wide eyes, an owl posed for a photo taken by Colorado Parks and Wildlife soon after it was struck by a vehicle.

The state wildlife agency shared some good news to social media on Thursday, writing the saw-whet owl didn't have any fractures after it was hit.

The owl was sent to Birds of Prey Colorado in Broomfield where it will receive care. Click here for more information on the organization.
