MONUMENT, Colo. (KKTV) - All lanes are back open on northbound I-25 following an hours-long closure for a semi-truck fire Tuesday morning.
The big rig caught fire around 9 a.m. just north of the Greenland exit (167), shutting down the entire northbound side of the interstate for more than an hour and forcing vehicles to exit at County Line Road. No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
One lane reopened around 10:30 a.m. CDOT tweeted all lanes were back open just before noon.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Based on traffic cameras in the area, the vehicle involved appeared to be a moving truck.
