New report ranks best online community colleges in Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A new report ranked the best online community colleges in Colorado, with Pikes Peak Community College taking the number six spot.

The schools in the top ten had annual tuition ranging from $2,400 at Colorado Mountain College to $8,685 at Trinidad State Junior College. The rankings were compiled by SR Education Group. Click here to read the full report.

The report highlights Pikes Peak Community College as having a "variety of degrees."

#8 Colorado Northwestern Community College $7,896 Rangely (CO)

#9 Trinidad State Junior College $8,685 Trinidad, Alamosa (CO)

#10 Northeastern Junior College $7,896 Sterling (CO)

#11 Lamar Community College $7,896 Lamar (CO)

Schools that consider some on-campus coursework were still considered in the rankings, but only if all in-person work could be finished in two weeks or less. The report took into consideration available degrees, tuition rates and other data. Click here for the methodology.
