More I-25 roadwork ahead this month, this time south of the Springs

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - Most drivers are used to the I-25 "Gap" work by now -- but get ready for roadwork south of the Springs as well.

CDOT will be conducting paving operations between mile markers 130-132 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Traffic will be down to one lane in both directions during those hours, and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.

Drivers who frequent the stretch of interstate between the Springs and Pueblo should expect more work to come: CDOT announced Friday that it would be installing a new cable barrier between mile markers 122-128. That project begins the night of June 24.
