COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A 53-year-old man is being held without bond after he was found at a Colorado Springs hotel with a missing teen.

The 16-year-old disappeared from her home in Pueblo in the middle of the night June 30. Police told 11 News she was legally blind without glasses and had a diminished mental capacity, similar to an 8-year-old child.

On July 5, Springs police officers tracked down the teen and Garza to a hotel in the 3400 block of Stinson Road just northeast of I-25 and Fillmore Street. It's not clear what led police to that location. Garza was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle.

Garza now faces kidnapping charges. His mugshot was released Monday afternoon.

Since the teen has been found 11 News has removed her name and picture from this article.
