COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) Mayor John Suthers is expected to reflect on the progress of the city of Colorado Springs over the past year in his annual State of the City adress.
The event is Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 from 11:30 until 1:30 at the Broadmoor Hall B. There is garage parking available.
One of the issues the city has faced is the need for road improvements. It's been almost 5 years since voters passed the 2C sales to improve local roads. The mayor is hoping to extend that measure.
At Thursday's event, Mayor Suthers is expected to discuss progresses made in infrastructure, public safety, economic development. According to a city press release, he'll also tough on challenges that are ahead for the Olympic City.
