Man shot in his groin area, may be from domestic dispute

While police believe the case is likely an isolated domestic incident,

It happened around 4 at the Windmill Apartments. That's near Airport Road and S. Academy Boulevard.

Police have been interviewing the wife of the victim, saying they were the only two home at the time.

At this time, it's not clear if the victim, who is in the military, was shot once or twice. He has a gunshot wound in the lower left area of his groin, and another wound on the right side of his buttocks. The victim is expected to be OK.

Police are bringing detectives on scene to help with the investigation.
