Man killed in rollover crash in Pueblo late Sunday

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV)- A young man is dead after losing control of his pickup late Sunday night.

Pueblo Police say they were called to the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Veta at about 11:20 p.m.

When they arrived they found a 2002 Ford truck, sitting in the backyard of a home near West Adams and Lincoln.

Officers determined the driver had lost control at Lincoln and Veta, striking two utility poles and rolling several times before coming to rest in a backyard.

The 23-year old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

Police say the driver had a revoked license and was not wearing a seat belt. They also think alcohol and excessive speed may have been factors in the crash.
