COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man was ticketed Friday morning for allegedly driving drunk and crashing near the Colorado Springs Airport.
Around 2:35 a.m., police officers said they were called out to the T-intersection of E. Fountain Boulevard and Aviation Way.
Investigators believe the driver, Joshua Bolden, was heading eastbound on E. Fountain Blvd. and when he came up to the intersection, he never stopped.
Bolden reportedly kept going straight, jumped the curb and ran right into the airport's perimeter fence. Police said there was only minor damage.
Bolden was charged with DUI and cited for careless driving.
