Large hail hits northeast Colorado hard on Wednesday, county asks for damage reports

LOGAN COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Hail larger than golf balls slammed part of Colorado on Wednesday.

Viewers shared pictures of hailstones they scooped up in Sterling on the northeast side of the state.

The Logan County Office of Emergency Management put out an alert to the public at about 9:30 p.m. asking for any damage reports. You can email Loganoem@logancountyco.gov or call 970-520-0888 extension 282. The agency will use the information to find out if the damage meets the requirements for assistance.
