Lane and ramp closures on I-25 in Colorado Springs for the Cimarron Project warranty work

Motorists will see crews working along I-25 related to the I-25/Cimarron Interchange Project on warranty work. The project contractor, Kraemer North America, will perform work that will require lane and ramp closures.

Traffic Impacts – Week of August 26

Full Overnight Closure of Southbound I-25

9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Aug. 27

•Single lane closure will begin at 9 p.m. with a full closure at 10 p.m. on southbound I-25 between W. Bijou Street and US 24/Cimarron Street for concrete panel replacement.

•Detour to southbound I-25 Ramp to US 24/Cimarron Street to South Tejon Street to I-25.

• Detour height restriction 13' at S. Tejon Street railroad bridge.

Overnight Lane Restrictions on Southbound I-25 and Full Closure of Northbound I-25 On-Ramp at Cimarron/US 24

9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Wednesday night, Aug. 28

•Single lane closures begin at 9 p.m. with double left lane restrictions at 10 p.m. on southbound I-25 between W. Bijou Street and I-25 Bridge over Cimarron Street to remove and replace concrete panels. Motorists should expect delays since there may be only one through lane open.

•Full closure of northbound I-25 on-ramp at Cimarron/US 24 for concrete panel repair.

•Detour for ramp closure: Cimarron east to Nevada, north to Bijou, west to I-25. Follow detour signs.

Overnight Lane Restrictions on Southbound I-25 and Full Closure of Northbound I-25 On-Ramp at Cimarron/US 24

9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday night, Aug. 29

•Single right lane closure on southbound I-25 between W. Bijou Street and I-25 Bridge over Cimarron Street to remove and replace concrete panels.

•Single left lane closure on the southbound off-ramp at Cimarron/US 24. S

•Full closure of northbound I-25 on-ramp at Cimarron/US 24 for concrete panel repair.

•Detour for ramp closure: Cimarron east to Nevada, north to Bijou, west to I-25. Follow detour signs.

No work during the Labor Day holiday weekend (Friday, Aug. 30 - Monday, Sept. 1)
