Lakewood teen, toddler brother missing

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE (12:54 p.m.): Shortly after the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a missing persons release, the Lakewood Police Department announced the children had been located.

At this time, it's unknown where they were found.

PREVIOUS (12:30 p.m.): Police are searching for a teen and her toddler brother after both went missing Sunday afternoon.

Lakewood police say they believe 14-year-old Alexus Beyers took her 15-month-old brother Ronald. The pair was last seen at their home in the area of Colfax Avenue and Jay Street in Lakewood.

Alexus is described as a white female, 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds. She has shoulder-length curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and in the photograph released by police is wearing glasses. She was last seen in a black tank top and camo pants.

Ronald is also white, is 1-foot-3 and 40 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue pants the last time he was seen.
