Kohl's will accept Amazon returns, even without shipping box

Starting in July, Kohl's will accept Amazon customers' orders for free at all Kohl's locations in 48 states. That includes more than 1,150 stores.

The partnership with Amazon began in 2017. Kohl's is currently accepting Amazon returns in 100 stores in the Los Angeles, Chicago, and Milwaukee areas. This is an expansion of that pilot program.

According to a press release, Kohl's will accept items free of charge, regardless of return reason and regardless of whether the items are packaged or unpackaged for shipping.

Once returned to Kohl's, the store will send all returned items to Amazon centers.

Kohl's is also carrying Amazon products in more than 200 stores.

Some analysts say Kohl's could go even further with Amazon, like bringing Amazon Books into its stores, or leasing out store space to Whole Foods, according to CNN.
