Investigators said 26-year-old Ian Willcoxon has been missing since Jan. 4, 2017.

Wilcoxon's sister, Noelle Robbins, said she has been continuing to hold out hope that he’s out there somewhere still alive. She said she can't focus on anything negative because that'll impact her every day.

Wilcoxon was living out in Boone which is eastern Pueblo County. He was described as a white man with blond hair and blue eyes. The family said they have not heard from Willxocon since that day.

Willcoxon's last known address was 2300 57th Lane, which is in the town of Boone.

However, investigators said that there may be someone in the Pueblo area who knows where Willcoxon is. Detectives weren’t able to say if they think Ian is still alive or not because they have such little information on what happened to him.

"I hope he’s alive, I really do for his family's sake, but at this point, any answer would be beneficial just for closure, if need be, for the family," said JC Williams, the lead detective on the case for the Pueblo County sheriff's office.

They do know that his financial accounts haven’t been used and the same goes with his phone. Wilcoxon’s sister said the hardest part throughout all of this is not knowing.

"My parents I can’t even imagine, I look at them and wonder how they walk around knowing their child is missing. For me, it’s hard because we were close as siblings, but he’s not my child and now that I have one I can understand it a bit better," said Robbins over the phone.

Robbins doesn't believe her brother just ran off and started a new life. She says he was seen buying groceries the day before he disappeared, and he had been in contact with his landlord in Texas saying he'd pay January's rent when he got to Texas. The family says he had plans to catch a flight on the 4th but it was canceled due to weather.

His sister said a majority of his belongings were found at the place he was living at in Pueblo County. The only items unaccounted for were the clothes he was wearing, his phone and his gun.

"I feel like someone has to know his whereabouts or someone has to know if he decided to take off and start over. I feel like someone has to have some sort of information," Robbins said.

Wilcoxon also lived north of Houston in Conroe, Texas for a short time. Investigators were working with authorities there to try and locate him.

"This is very unusual, to not have any activity for this sort of time we usually have some sort of answer if it’s good or bad," said Williams.

Anyone with any information about Willcoxon is asked to contact the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office at 719-583-6250. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867.
