Horse injured after pickup crashes into horse and buggy

ALAMOSA, Colo. (KKTV) - A horse was able to walk away with a slight limp after a pickup driver crashed into a buggy on Thursday.

The crash happened on Highway 370 in Alamosa County just southwest of Alamosa. Colorado State Patrol cited the driver of the pickup truck for careless driving and buggy the horse was towing flipped rolled on its side.

"Please pay attention to slow moving vehicles! There’s no reason for this to happen," Colorado State Patrol posted on Twitter. "Luckily no one was injured, but the horse has a slight limp."
