WANTED: Suspect in Pueblo murder
Pueblo police are reminding the public they need help locating a murder suspect.
The suspect is connected to the death of 20-year-old Clinton Jordan. Jordan's body was found in the 2500 block of E. 20th St. on June 25. Charles James "CJ" Martinez is wanted for Jordan's murder. His picture is at the top of this article. If you have any information on his location you're asked to call 719-542-7867.
Police identified Martinez as a suspect back in June and sent out another notice on Tuesday.
The subject of an ongoing homicide investigation was targeted, Pueblo police tell 11 News.
A 20-year-old man was found dead in a house on the 2500 block of East 20th Street just after 6 Monday night. The officers who found him had responded to the east side home on reports of shots fired. The deceased appeared to have been shot.
Detectives are currently following up on several leads regarding the suspects. As the incident was not random, there is not thought to be a threat to the public.
