Injured hiker rescued overnight from Palmer Park

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department says it rescued a hiker with a severely injured leg at Palmer Park late Thursday night.

Police say the call for a high angle rescue came in just before midnight.

Responders say the hiker may have had a broken leg and needed to go to the hospital.

The hiker was rescued just inside the park's south entrance on Paseo Road.
