PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - One person was hurt when a shooter fired at a vehicle Saturday night, shattering the passenger side vehicle.

Pueblo police responded to the area of Mesa and Evans around 11:20 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting with a possible victim. Witnesses told the officers they saw a fight break out, then someone fire multiple times in the direction of a car. Officers later recovered eight shell casings from the scene.

The bullets missed the people in the vehicle, but an 18-year-old passenger was "showered" and suffered multiple cuts to her face and arms, police said.

Police announced Monday they had arrested 29-year-old Joshua Degrado on second-degree assault charges. Degrado also faces charges of unlawful discharge with a firearm.
