Falcon police officers were dispatched to a neighborhood around Chapel Hills Drive and Research Parkway for 'suspicious circumstances'. This happened Thursday morning just before 3 a.m.

The reporting party told officers they observed suspects stealing mail from mail boxes on several streets and were able to get a good description of the vehicle and a license plate.

Officers say that they located the vehicle at the Walmart on Razorback Road and then waited for the suspects to return to the vehicle. The male suspect then tried to get in his vehicle and escape as officers surrounded the vehicle with cruisers.

They say that the suspect then initially raised his hands as if he was going to surrender and then shifted the vehicle into reverse and accelerated striking a police cruiser.

He was taken into custody.

The female suspect then walked out of the Walmart and was detained by police. Officers looked inside the vehicle and could see mail from over 40 mail boxes throughout the vehicle.

Police add that a loaded gun was located in the center console and methamphetamine were located in the vehicle with the stolen property.

The female was then arrested for possession of drugs, theft, and possession of financial devices. The male was arrested for felony eluding and theft.

Police say that the two suspects arrested are Joshua Lozano and Crystal Brice, both 26-years-old.
