El Paso County courthouse evacuated, all clear given

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County courthouse was evacuated on Monday because of a "self-activating" fire alarm.

It isn't clear what prompted the alarm, but firefighters gave the all-clear at about 3:30 p.m.

No one was injured and the courthouse went back to resuming normal operations soon after. There was a line extending to the street for people trying to get back in. It isn't clear how this will impact the court schedule on Monday or this week.
