Driver seen on her phone right before causing crash

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A driver survived after her car ended up underneath a semi-truck in Pueblo Monday evening.

A photo tweeted by the Pueblo Police Department shows the driver's side crushed underneath the larger vehicle.

The crash happened around 6:30 at Norwood Avenue and the Highway 50 bypass. Witnesses told police they saw the driver on her phone right before crashing.

The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
