Dozens of dogs have a chance at a new life. The group 'Dog is my CoPilot' flew nearly 100 dogs and cats from New Mexico to Colorado and Utah.
The flight landed at the airport in Centennial on Thursday morning. Volunteers and rescuers helped unload the dogs from the plane.
The pets were rescued from high-kill shelters and are now looking for new homes. One of the local non-profit rescues that helped coordinate the rescue is 'From Forgotten to Forever.'
