Dogs eat for free this week at Einstein Bros. Bagels

In honor of "Take Your Pet to Work Week" at least one food chain is offering up free treats for pooches.

Einstein Bros. Bagels doesn't want the dog days of summer to get the best of you or your four-legged family member. The bagel retailer has launched

in celebration of "Take Your Pet to Work Week."

Starting June 19, and running through June 23, pet parents can bring their pups to any Einstein Bros. Bagels company-owned or franchise locations nationwide to receive a free doggie bagel with purchase. A coupon is needed,,

“Americans are investing more time and attention on their pets than ever before,” says Kerry Coyne, SVP of Marketing, R&D, and Catering at Einstein Bros.® Bagels in a release. “We recognize the unconditional love that our pet-loving customers have for their furry friends, and with free doggie bagels at stake, we’re sure Tuesdays will become a day to bark about!”

The bagel outlet is also asking the public to take part on social media, using the hashtag #BarkForBagels. Guests will need to visit www.EinsteinBros.com/DogsEatFree to print a copy of the coupon or simply show it on their mobile device at the register to qualify for the Dogs Eat Free offer. FDA guidelines limiting non-service dogs to restaurant patios remain in effect.
