COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region helped reunite a dog with its family on Wednesday.

The organization says the dog, Bowie, was found by Animal Law Enforcement officers during a homeless camp cleanup. Bowie had a microchip and no collar on.

"When her owners were contacted, they tearfully said she had been missing for several weeks," the humane society stated in a release.
