Deadly shooting under investigation in Pueblo West

Authorities are trying to figure out why a man was shot and killed in Pueblo West Monday night.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Sean Michael Pennefather on Tuesday for the death of his 68-year-old stepfather. Pennefather is facing a charge of first-degree murder.
Deputies were called to the 400 block of W. Mangrum Drive at about 7:50 at night on Monday for a shots fired call. The neighborhood is just west of Civic Center Park in Pueblo West. There they found the victim on the back patio of the home.
Deputies tried live-saving measure on the victim, but the victim died on scene.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
