PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Investigators are learning more about what led up to a deadly crash on Highway 50 east of Pueblo Wednesday night.

The call came in for Colorado State Patrol at about 6:41 p.m. just east of the Pueblo Memorial Airport off Highway 50. A 67-year-old man riding a motorcycle was injured, taken to the hospital and died there.

According to investigators, a semi-truck pulling a trailer was stopped at the intersection of Highway 231 and Highway 50. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was exiting a nearby parking lot onto Highway 231. According to a witness, the motorcycle traveled southbound and tried to drive around the semi-trailer on its right side. The rider hit a curb causing him to fall off the motorcycle and under the trailer. The semi-truck driver made a left hand turn onto Highway 50 and the semi-trailer ran over the motorcycle rider.

The motorcyclist was identified as Paul Allen Mynatt of Pueblo.

No charges have been filed in the case, but it remains under investigation.
