ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado State Patrol was investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian and an Adams County Sheriff's Office vehicle Thursday night.
According to Colorado State Patrol, a deputy was driving southbound at about 7:45 p.m. while responding to a call for service. The deputy did not have lights or sirens when a man crossed the roadway outside of a crosswalk and not at an intersection. The pedestrian was hit and killed. Excessive speed is not considered a factor in the crash.
The pedestrian has not been publicly identified. There were no injuries to the deputy.
